Two weeks ago Amir and I bought a quite expensive lego for Elka and Farhan. We could not avoid that because we promise that they could have presents they like if they get 50 stars. Each of them got 50 stars after collecting them around a month and a half from activities such as having shower, packing up rooms, no playing xbox, reading iqra books, and finishing their dinner or lunch.
Our effort to save money by preventing their wishes to buy toys all the time is fail. Because this way only accummulates their dreams to have toys. And this way could not eliminate their requests to have treats such as ice creams, fried chickens, burgers, and other junk food.
We have a new strategy namely trading stars. This time they can loose their stars and trade them with toys or junk food they like. One star equivalent to $1. I am happy that both Elka and Farhan agree with this new plan. They said its fair.
Yesterday both Elka and Farhan lose several stars they had for having fried chicken and pasta from their favourite restaurants. I hope this plan will run well.
